On June 7, four UConn coaches paid a visit to UConn Stamford to speak to alumni about their teams. While there, UConn’s Hall of Fame women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma took time to view our FC Sports Hall of Fame and take a photo with the plaque of one of his former players, 2009 inductee Jen Rizzotti.
Also on hand was baseball coach Jim Penders, who stopped for a photo with the plaques of his grandfather Jim and uncle Tom, both members of the FCSHOF. Others who attended were football coach Randy Edsall and new men’s basketball coach Danny Hurley.
