The 2020 Tim Teufel Celebrity Golf Tournament presented by Sweet’N Low raised thousands of dollars for the Sports Foundation. The Sept. 21 event was once again held at the Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich.

The annual Tim Teufel Celebrity Golf Tournament presented by Sweet’N Low has benefited the Sports Foundation and its Chelsea Cohen Fitness Academy since 2012. Tim is a member of the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2008. The Greenwich native is currently a roving infield coordinator and club ambassador for the New York Mets. He spent 11 years in the major leagues and was a key member of the 1986 Mets’ world championship team at second base. The tournament is held each year at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, one of the finest golf courses in Fairfield County. Each foursome has a celebrity golfer to spend the entire 18 holes with for the round.
