Our latest class of Hall of Famers was honored as well as Sports Persons of the year from 16 cities in Fairfield County.

The new Hall Famers are former NASCAR driver Randy LaJoie of Norwalk and former professional golfer Ken Green of Danbury in the Jackie Robinson Professional Wing.

Also, Staples High School track coach Laddie Lawrence and Joel Barlow soccer, baseball and golf coach Jim Dolan entered the J. Walter Kennedy Community Service Wing.

The additions to the James O’Rourke Amateur Wing were soccer standout Phil Kydes of Norwalk and former Raybestos Brakettes pitcher, the late Bertha Ragan Tickey of Stratford.
